Pavilion Rental
The Pavilions in Springwoods park and at the pool are available for your private party and can be reserved. Contact Crossroads Utility Services at 512.246.5911. A refundable
$100 deposit is required.
The hourly charge is $15. Use this reservation form.

 Summer 2010 Pool Schedule

Memberships can be purchased at the pool. Payment by check is preferred please.

POOL PARTIES:

 Please call the pool five days in advance of any party/gathering that includes more than five people. The pool staff may have to turn groups away if there are not enough guards to handle unexpected crowds. We're happy to accomodate reasonable pool parties, but require five day's notice to provide a safe setting for all pool visitors. Call 258-8082 to notify the pool staff of your pool party plans.

Springwoods Municipal Utility District purchased the pool in 1996 from Forest North Recreation Association and immediately began a series of upgrades, including addition of a sloped, beach-style entry, a slide and a mushroom spray for youngsters' enjoyment. Slide Rules – Springwoods Pool
Here are some rules for the use of the pool slide:

  1. You must be 48 in. tall or able to swim one pool length.
  2. Riders must wear swimsuits; no cut-off jeans.
  3. Only one rider at a time. No doubles, trains or chains.
  4. Enter slide in a sitting position.
  5. Wait for the lifeguard’s starting instructions before riding.
  6. Ride slide feet first, either sitting or lying down on back.
  7. Keep arms and feet inside flume. Do not stop on slide.
  8. No tubes, mats or life jackets permitted in flume.
  9. Exit splashdown pool area immediately.
  10. Form waiting line on pool deck. not on slide stairway.
  11. WARNING: Pregnant women and riders with a heart or back condition should not use this ride.
  12. WARNING: Failure to follow the slide rules can result in serious injury to yourself and others and loss of your privilege to use the slide.

Sting Rays Swim Team

The Sting Rays Swim Team practices at the pool and conducts swim meets on some Saturday mornings during the summer.
